We’re looking forward to our Mahjong beginner lesson series on the evenings of October 19th and 20th! We had so many people sign up for our September class, that we opened up another group. Ticket purchases are for both days of the event. If you can only attend one day, please wait until the next session. We do not offer refunds for events. No discounts may be applied to these tickets.

For those new to Mahjong, the two-lesson format works especially well because it gives us time to build a strong foundation and then reinforce learning through guided play.
Lesson 1:
• Mahjong basics
• Tiles, terminology, and the flow of the game
• Engaging practice activities
• One full game of heavily guided play
Lesson 2:
• Guided games (typically 2–3, depending on group pace and a few other factors)
• Continued coaching, strategy tips, and building confidence at the table
Amy brings everything we need to learn and play, including:
• Tile sets, mats, racks, and dice
• A loaner NMJL card for each participant
• Personalized guides for the group to keep
