Valentine Felt Heart Key Chains

Kids ages 6-12 will learn introductory hand-stitching skills in this Valentine’s Day Workshop using colorful flat felt and embroidery threads. They will also get to practice their tracing and cutting skills, creating stuffed felt heart keychains to give as gifts, hang from their backpacks or trade with friends.

Jenny finds great fulfillment in lifelong learning and passing on knowledge and skills to others, giving them more tools in their toolbox for creative expression and living well.

Jenny has worked as a teaching artist for over a decade, facilitating art workshops for children and adults.  She has done programming for Wickham Works, Warwick Area Farmworkers Organization, Warwick Valley School System, Hudson Valley Atelier, That Creative Space, and the Rhode Island Museum of Art and Science.  She has a specialty in fiber arts, which includes wet felting, needle felting, and sewing.

Caregivers are required to attend.  Each ticket admits one child.  Please DM us for sibling discounts.  We expect this class to last approximately 1 hour.
